Privacy Policy

This Policy describes what data is processed when you use the GameFlow application (the “App”) and its supporting server. By using the App, you consent to the processing described here.

1. Accounts

The App works without registration or sign-in. We do not request or store your name, email, phone number, or any other information that identifies you.

2. Data that stays on your device

Your game lists, notes, and favorites are stored locally on your device only and are not sent to our servers. Deleting the App deletes this data.

3. Data processed by our server

To retrieve game information, the App contacts our proxy server. The server processes and temporarily stores a technical minimum that is not linked to your identity:

• the content of the game request (which games and parameters were requested) — stored in an anonymous log and automatically deleted after 30 days;
• the request type, a cache-hit flag, the response code, and the request time — for diagnostics and load statistics.

The server does not store your IP address, device identifiers, or any other data that could identify you. The IP address may be used briefly in memory only to protect against overload and is not recorded. Game responses are cached for up to 24 hours and contain none of your personal data.

4. Analytics and crash reports

To improve the stability and quality of the App, we use AppMetrica (a service by Yandex). It receives the following, tied to a randomly generated profile identifier rather than to your name:

• Product-interaction events — records of how you use the App: screens opened, searches (their length, not their text), calculations and their parameters, playthrough progress, favorites, and similar in-app actions. Some events include the titles of games you view, select, or track.
• An in-app profile tied to that identifier — your app preferences (theme, language), aggregate counters (number of calculations and favorites), and the title of the last game you tracked.
• Technical data — device model, OS and App version, performance data, and a device identifier assigned by AppMetrica.
• Crash reports — the App uses the KSCrash library, and diagnostic crash information is delivered to AppMetrica to help us fix bugs.

This data is collected only for analytics and to keep the App functioning, and is not linked to your name, email, or an account. We do not track you across apps and websites, do not use advertising networks or advertising identifiers, and do not determine your location (location detection is disabled). Data processing by AppMetrica is governed by the AppMetrica Privacy Policy; data may be processed on the service provider’s servers.

5. Source of game data

Game information is provided by the IGDB database (a Twitch/Amazon service). Your device does not contact IGDB directly, but through our server, which passes none of your personal data to IGDB.

6. Sharing and sale of data

We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Sharing is possible only with the third-party services listed in Section 4, to the extent necessary for their operation, and in cases expressly required by law.

7. Children

The App is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect personal data of children under 13.

8. Your rights and data deletion

Your content (lists, notes, favorites) is stored locally — deleting the App deletes it along with the App. Analytics and crash-report data (Section 4) is not linked to your name or an account. For questions about data processing, including deletion requests, contact us using the details below.

We may update this Policy. The current version is always available at this address; the date at the top reflects the most recent change.
